Allows to automatically create groups based on column values.
Group by same value
Automatically set groups based on values of a column. Comparison is done case-sensitive. If more values than specified max. groups exist, create only groups for the values with most Samples.
Create equal-sized groups
Try to create groups with equal size, based on ordered values. All Samples with same value will belong to the same group. This methodcan only be used for columns with data type Integer, Number or Date.
Useful when visualizing non-homogeneous distributed numbers or dates.
Group by value range
Create groups for a section of value range. This method can only be used for columns with data type Integer, Number or Date.
Useful when visualizing homogeneous distributed numbers or dates.
Other options
- Clear existing groups: If not selected, existing groups are not cleared and their colors are kept. If the value in a column matches an existing group name this group is assigned to the corresponding Sample.
- Use color gradient: Instead of using colors that are spread in color space, use a gradient between the two given colors.
