Getting Started

Perform the following steps to create a new Task Template:

1. Choose menu function File | New | Task Template
2. Choose Create Task Template by Predefined MCGenome Definition File
3. Press the button Import MCGenome File and open the file to import.
   • The list of Microbial Core Genes stored in the file are loaded into a table showing all the related details, e.g. locus name, length, KEGG name and description, etc
   • The rows of loci may now selected and removed by using the context menu (right-click on selected row).
4. Press button Create Task Template for all Loci
   • All loci in the list shown above will now be downloaded and extracted into Task Template Targets.
5. Press the Next button at the bottom.

Parameter Settings

Three sections of parameters are available to alter the specifications of:

• Reference Sequence
• Target Analysis
• View Settings

These parameters help determine the restrictions and the visible results of the created MLST Task Template.

They can be modified or left to their default values.

Save Task Template

Enter a Task Template Name, the Access Rights, and choose a Project that this Task Template is used in.
