If no submission of any data is wanted or allowed, a public Task Template can be converted into a local Task Template. Samples that are using only local Task Templates will not and cannot be submitted.

To convert a downloaded public Task Template do the following steps:

  • Step 1: Invoke in the menu function Options | Task Template.
  • Step 2: Select the public Task Template in the list and press the button Button16-Duplicate.gif Duplicate.
  • Step 3: Confirm the message dialog that describes that the public Task Template will be converted.
  • Step 4: The duplicate of the Task Template is shown in an editor dialog. Adjust the name of the Task Template (e.g., replace "Copy of" by "Local") and confirm the dialog.
  • Step 5: Press Save Changes to store the new Task Template.

The same can be done with the Accessory Task Template if needed. The local duplicates of the Task Template have initially an empty allele library. The first Sample that is added to the projects gets allele type 1 for all alleles. The allele types are only locally valid.
